A tool for previewing your webpage before you publish it is now available in Documentum. 
This new feature will allow you to correct any potential typos or formatting issues on your webpage before you make your content live.
To preview your work while in the Documentum interface, follow these steps:
Step 1: Save the edits you have made to the webpage by clicking Save.
Step 2: View the changes by clicking Web View.
PLEASE NOTE: You must have Pop-Up Blocker set to accept pop-up windows from docapp.mst.edu. If a pop-up message appears, right click on the pop-up frame and select Always Allow Pop-Ups from This Site.
You can also preview a file without opening it for editing.
Step 1: Check the box next to the file you want to preview.
Step 2: Click Web View to view your file, making sure that Pop-Ups are allowed for Documentum.
After clicking Web View, a new Internet Explorer window will pop-up and display the page for you. See the example below.
Note: If you click Web View prior to saving, you will not see the changes you have made to the file, or you will see a blank screen if it is a new piece of content that you are creating and haven’t clicked Save.
This feature is only available when using Internet Explorer, the recommended browser for use with Documentum Web Publisher.
